Upcoming Mid-Winter Performances!

In February and March the Wilmington Band program will be presenting the following mid-winter concerts for parents, families, and the surrounding community.  

• Tuesday, February 21^st – 7/8 Grade, H.S. Jazz, & H.S. Band Mid-Winter Concert @ 7:30pm – WAHS Auditorium
  • Report time: 6:45pm – WAHS band room
  • Attire: formal black/white (7/8 grade) & marching uniform (HS band)

 

• Wednesday, February 22^nd – 5^th & 6^th Grade Ensemble Night Concert @ 7:30pm – WAHS Auditorium
  • Report time: 6:45pm – WAHS band room
  • Attire: formal black/white

 

• Friday, March 3^rd – Side-By-Side Concert with the Westminster College Wind Ensemble & Wilmington High School Concert Band (Gr. 9-12 only) @ 7:30pm – Orr Auditorium – Westminster College Campus
  • Report time: 6:40pm – Orr Auditorium (Westminster) – meet in the music department band room
  • Attire: marching uniform (HS band)
    • *Students will need to take uniforms to Westminster and return them on Monday to Wilmington

 

• Wednesday, March 8^th – High School Concert Band Adjudicated Assessment Performance @ 12:15 – Orr Auditorium – Westminster College
  • *More details to come on a separate letter
  • Attire: Marching uniform

  *These performances will be part of the student’s graded assessment for the 3^rd nine-week grading period and thus attendance is required. If a student is unable to attend for an excused reason they will need to complete an alternative assignment.
