Congratulations to the following middle and high school students for being selected to participate in the annual Lawrence County All-Star Band Festival which will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Westminster College. Students who were selected to participate in the festival will depart WAHS around 8:15 am and will rehearse with guest conductors on challenging music throughout the day. Meals will be provided at no additional charge for the students. There will then be a concert for parents, friends, and family that evening in Orr Auditorium at Westminster beginning at 7:30 pm. In the next few weeks, the students involved will receive their music and are HIGHLY encouraged to practice it at home in order to make the one day rehearsal and concert run smoothly.
